Los Angeles / Johannesburg, October 31, 2013 – The Los Angeles and Johannesburg-based organizers of DISCOP Africa 2013 today announced that Nico Meyer, CEO of MultiChoice Africa, South Africa’s largest Pay-TV broadcaster, will present a keynote session at the market, as well as host the Welcome Cocktail Party taking place on Wednesday 6 November.

Nico Meyer is confirmed to present a keynote session during the market’s DISCOPRO conference program entitled “Celebrating a 20 Year Legacy in Africa”. MultiChoice Africa operates the leading satellite television service DStv which broadcasts to 50 countries throughout sub-Saharan Africa alongside its new DTT service GOtv.

The leading forces behind the development of Africa’s television content production and distribution industry will be in attendance at the 8th edition of DISCOP Africa from 6 to 8 November at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg.
