DHX Media, a leading independent creator, producer, distributor and licensor of children’s entertainment content is producing 60 brand new Teletubbies episodes for CBeebies. The new series will feature the same well-loved characters and styling but will be visually enhanced, bringing a refreshed and contemporary look and feel to the one of the world’s most well-known properties, which is still entertaining and engaging preschool audiences worldwide.
In addition, DHX Media brings a brand new 26 x 30-minute, 2D animated comedy series, Looped, aimed at kids aged six to 12. The series is commissioned by Corus Entertainment’s YTV in Canada and has presold to Super RTL in Germany.
DHX Media has also inked a deal with Doodle Entertainment, the production arm of brand communications company Squint Opera, for worldwide distribution rights of its first-ever television series, Messy goes to Okido (52 x 11’). CBeebies is already on board to broadcast the animated educational series in Spring 2015.
